Work-Based Learning Teacher Certification Extension

New York State Teacher Certification Extension

In order to qualify for a Coordinator of Work Based Learning Program extension, an individual must complete six college credits from one of the college programs listed below and hold a New York State teacher certification in a 7-12, all grades, or 5-9 subject area, or school counselor certification. They must also provide documentation of a minimum of 300 clock hours of work experience outside of the classroom.
