Awards & Opportunities
Presidential Awards for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching (PAEMST)
Each year the President of the United States recognizes outstanding teachers in mathematics and science from across the nation at the Kindergarten through 6th grade level or the 7th through 12th grade level and bestows upon them the Presidential Awards for Excellence. New York State is looking for nominations of outstanding mathematics teachers that spark students' imaginations in STEM education through innovative teaching and learning.
The 2023-2024 PAEMST application cycle is for educators that teach grades K-6. The application deadline for the 2023-2024 cycle is February 6, 2024.
