21stCCLC Grant Review Opportunity
21st Century Community Learning Center funding proposals are reviewed by teams of peer reviewers, not by State Education Department staff. The Department continually recruits individuals who are interested in serving as peer reviewers. We are looking for qualified individuals with diverse expertise, geographic location, gender, racial and ethnic representation to participate in the peer review process. Examples of people who have served as reviewers include (but are not limited to):
- Teachers and principals
- Experts in extended learning opportunities
- College and University faculty
- Community educators
- Community service providers
- Practitioners from faith-based organizations
- Staff from foundations and charitable organizations.
