- Information and Reporting Services IRS Data Exchange (IDEx)
The new IRS Data Exchange (IDEx) was created to allow for easier exchange and certification of data. The prior process required LEAs to download an excel or PDF file, complete the form and upload it to NYSED using the IRSP.SEDDAS Entitlements to the IDEx will be carried over directly from the IRSP. Any new staff requiring access to the forms located in the IDEx must be given IRSP entitlements by the CEO

If you have entitlements and can log into the Business Portal and SED Monitoring, questions regarding SED Monitoring surveys can be directed to the program office of the survey you need assistance with. A complete listing of contacts can be found by logging in to SED Monitoring and clicking on the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.
If the CEO does not have entitlements needed for SED Monitoring surveys, please contact the program office of the survey that directed you to submit data.

The following applications cannot be accessed from the SEDDAS home page. Access to these applications is indicated below. If you have questions about these applications, please contact the appropriate offices using the contact information provided below.
- L2RPT and Level 0 Historical can be accessed via the web site provided by the Regional Information Center (RIC) or Big 5 associated with your school. Additional information is available at: Level 2 Reports (L2RPT) Resources and Information

- Teacher Access and Authorization TAA data is no longer accessed from the Business Portal. For easy access there is a link to on the Business Portal page under “Other Applications”.
Teacher Access and Authorization (TAA) is no longer in use.
Beginning in the 2020-21 school year, the department will no longer be collecting course (BEDS assignments) directly from teachers using the Teacher Access and Authorization (TAA) application. Teachers will no longer need to create accounts, submit or review data from the department.
For Administrators: All educator data will be reported directly by school districts, charter schools and BOCES using the Student Information Repository System (SIRS). For more information, please view the guidance on SIRS.
New York City Public Schools
