Medicaid 101: SSHSP Fundamentals & Documentation Requirements

The New York State Education Department in collaboration with the NYS Department of Health, is providing Preschool/School Supportive Health Services Program (SSHSP) Medicaid 101 training which will review program fundamentals, Medicaid SSHSP history, compliance and oversight, reimbursement methodology and billing requirements. The training is approximately 2 hours and recommended for direct service providers, supervisors of direct service providers, compliance officers, and school district and county administrative staff responsible for overseeing or conducting the claiming process. It is presented at an introductory level that is appropriate for new staff. Participants who require a reasonable accommodation must submit a reasonable accommodation request form to the Office of Diversity at OHRMRA@nysed.gov.
