In this video, Executive Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Dr. Diane Wynne, provides a brief introduction to the webinar series and shares why elevating student voice is critical to advancing equity and inclusion across New York State schools. The goals of the webinar series are also provided, in addition to suggestions for making connections in the practices shared in the videos to the Culturally Responsive-Sustaining (CR-S) Education Framework and an overview of the districts who are highlighted in this series.
