This Labor Day we honor and celebrate the teachers, administrators, guidance counselors, food service personnel, transportation workers, nurses, librarians, other school staff, government workers and licensed professionals for their extraordinary commitment to go above and beyond each day to serve New York’s children and adults throughout the pandemic.

The past year and a half has presented many challenges but it has also shown the resiliency of our state and those who call it home. We thank New York’s workforce who served tirelessly during this time to ensure our residents had access to vital goods and services. You deserve our praise and appreciation on this Labor Day and every day. We thank you and we stand with you.
