If you could use 2-3 words to describe MBK, what would they be?

Three words to describe MBK are brotherhood, support, and mentorship.

How has being involved in MBK impacted you?

Being involved in MBK has impacted me because my mentor is both my coach and mentor. So he has been able to help me on and off the court. On the court he has molded me into a better all-around player, and a team player. He has helped me learn how to behave in certain situations, especially in the ones I can’t control.

What do you look forward to most as a 2019-20 MBK Fellow?

What I look forward to most in the 2019-20 year of being a Fellow: I want to grow into my true self, better myself, and be more independent and not rely on others. Most of the time you need to do things on your own. I want to be a role model to my younger brothers, and I want them to know that I’m always here for them.
