Purchased services costs generally include only those costs purchased from another entity. Grant recipients cannot contract or purchase services from themselves. However, agencies that have a Cost Allocation Plan that complies with the Federal Uniform Grants Guidance (2 CFR 200) may charge the appropriate Central Services Costs in Purchased Services (Code 40).
