College of Saint Rose Closure Information

(Current Activity continues through 2023-2024 Academic Year)

On November 30, 2023, the Board of Trustees of the College of Saint Rose voted to cease academic instruction after the end of the 2023-2024 academic year. The anticipated last date of instruction at The College of Saint Rose will be June 21, 2024.  The anticipated last date of administrative operation at The College of Saint Rose will be December 31, 2024.

The College of Saint Rose currently partners with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcripts and degree verifications. Transfer Opportunities

The College of Saint Rose plans to enter into teach-out agreements with multiple higher education institutions that will provide pathways for students to continue their studies. Teach-out agreements are approved by the institution’s accreditor and often offer protections regarding transferability of credit, tuition, fees, and student housing. Students should carefully review the terms of each teach-out option available to them.

Accreditation Status

The College of Saint Rose is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). In June 2023, MSCHE updated the College’s accreditation status to “Non-Compliance Warning.” The College remains accredited while on warning.
