Alliance University Closure Information

As a result of the 2023 withdrawal of accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the Alliance University Board of Trustees voted to halt educational offerings for New York and Online locations effective August 31, 2023. (Note: The branch campus in Puerto Rico is not under the oversight of the New York State Education Department.)

Accreditation Status

On July 27, 2023, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) acted to acknowledge the institutional closure of Alliance University after the Commission acted to withdraw its accreditation. Accreditation for the institution and all of its locations ceased effective August 31, 2023. As of September 1, 2023, Alliance University is no longer accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. For more information, please visit: https://www.msche.org/
