The NYSED STAC/Medicaid Unit has scheduled a webinar designed to assist districts in processing requests for reimbursement for homeless placements. Topics covered include: School district and STAC/Medicaid Unit responsibilities; A step-by-step guide for submitting eligibility forms, entering requests for reimbursement approval, and verifying submitted claims for payment; and An overview of chargebacks. This training is recommended for all district personnel, new or as a refresher, who are responsible for overseeing, conducting, or reporting STAC homeless placements.

This session, led by NYSED's STAC/Medicaid unit, will focus on verification claims within the STAC Online (EFRT) System in order to receive reimbursement, as well as more advanced payment topics. There will also be a brief overview of the impacts of the EFRT system upgrade. Participants will have the option to participate in person at Capital Region BOCES or online via Webex

This session, led by NYSED's STAC/Medicaid unit, will introduce the STAC online (EFRT) system. Participants will receive a walkthrough on how to identify a student's STAC ID and steps that should be taken to avoid creating duplicate STAC IDs. The session will also provide an introductory overview of the process for claiming school age reimbursement using the STAC online (EFRT) system., as well as a brief overview of the impacts of the EFRT system upgrade. Participants will have the option to participate in person at Capital Region BOCES or online via Webex

This training highlights the STAC process for preschool records along with updates on the various reports that are made available too. It is recommended for all county personnel responsible for entering, amending, and/or verifying their county’s preschool claims. County responsibility for protecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of students will also be discussed.
