As we continue to implement the 1998 RESCUE Regulations (Rebuilding Schools to Uphold Education) we have developed a format for the five-year Capital Facilities Plan. These regulatory requirements are based on Commissioner’s Regulations 155.1.

Please visit our Facilities Planning Website and click on the appropriate button on our home page to find the SED format for the documents. They are self-explanatory; however, any questions may be referred to your Project Manager. These documents contain the minimum necessary information for compliance.

Please develop your Capital Plan as soon as possible. The information produced will enable districts to help justify infrastructure needs and demonstrate to the public that serious, thoughtful consideration is given to the health and safety needs of the students, staff, and the community when reviewing the district’s facilities.
