The New York State Archives (NYSA) Archival Services department ensures the preservation, accessibility, and use of New York’s historically valuable records. We accomplish this by managing the State Archives facility, which houses the archival records of state government.
The Access Services unit is responsible for managing access to the holdings of the State Archives as well as archival records held by selected historical records repositories statewide.
