Announcing 2025-2026 Teacher Leadership Consortium Dates

Amid ongoing changes, maintaining clear and consistent communication is essential. The Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages (OBEWL) of the New York State Education Department (NYSED) is proud to announce the continuation of the Teacher Leadership Consortium. The ENL and Bilingual Teacher Leadership Consortium (TLC) is an opportunity for ENL and Bilingual Education Teachers to learn from one another, discuss best practices, and hear about the latest updates from OBEWL and NYSED. There will be opportunities to ask questions of Associate Commissioner Elisa Alvarez.

This professional development opportunity is offered at NO COST to New York State educators, and administrators and can be used to fulfill Language Acquisition CTLE professional development requirements (1 CTLE credit offered).
