Submit Written Electronic Testimony on NYC Mayoral Control

Pursuant to Chapter 364 of the Laws of 2022, the New York State Education Department shall conduct a comprehensive review and assessment of the overall effectiveness of mayoral control of New York City schools. All members of the public—including students, parents, teachers, school administrators and staff, and individuals with experience and expertise in education policy and school governance—are invited to provide written electronic testimony on their experiences, assessments, and/or review of the mayoral control system of New York City schools.

Individuals wishing to submit written electronic testimony must complete the following Written Electronic Testimony form in full. Please use the space provided below, or submit feedback as an attached file. Written electronic testimony must be submitted by January 31, 2024 at 5:00 pm.
