My History My Future

The State Education Department and Education Trust—New York are highlighting students’ reflections on the impacts of history and its relevance to their generation. Through the #MyHistoryMyFuture social media campaign, we aim to amplify the voices of young people. We encourage students to not only reflect on the past but to be proud of where they come from and take action to make their schools, communities, and the world a better place for future generations.

You and your peers will write the next chapter of history, so we want to know what you want the future to look like. We invite you to share your voice with us by submitting a quote to answer this question: What do you want the future to look like?
