Dyslexia and Dysgraphia Public Hearing Registration - Albany
The New York State Education Department will hold a public hearing on dyslexia and dysgraphia on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 6:00–9:00 pm in Chancellor's Hall at the New York State Education Building in Albany. All members of the public—including students, parents, teachers, school administrators and staff, and individuals with experience and expertise in dyslexia and dysgraphia—are invited to testify.
Advance registration to present oral remarks is required. Individuals wishing to testify must complete the following registration form. Registration will close 48 hours prior to the start of the hearing, or whenever all available speaking slots have been filled, whichever comes first. Oral testimony will be limited to three (3) minutes per speaker, and presenters will testify in the order in which they arrive at the hearing. Longer statements will be accepted via the written electronic testimony form. Please be advised that this public hearing will be conducted in person.
