Webinar Series - NYSAPAT Design for World Language Teachers

Webinar Series - Designing NYSAPATs for NYS World Language Teachers with Dr. Jennifer Eddy

The NYSAPAT (New York State Articulated Performance Assessment Tasks) DesignSpace is an online repository of Articulated Performance Assessment Transfer tasks, designed by World Language teachers across the state through the NYSED World Languages Standards and Professional Development Initiative. These tasks are developed in the three modes of communication with specific Can-Do Statements for each mode. They facilitate articulation by focusing on a common context for a language cohort, with deliverables according to the student’s level of engagement. Teachers can search NYSAPAT tasks using clickable drop-down menus as well as design them by theme, topic, and performance target level. Below is a list of webinars that will explain the process of NYSAPAT access and creation.  Please join webinar facilitator Dr. Jennifer Eddy from Queens College to learn how you can benefit from this NYSAPAT Design Space and create your tasks to share statewide!  Click on the link for the webinar that works best in your schedule.  You will need to login with your full name and school email address.  (Click here for the promotional flyer for the webinar series.)
