Schoharie Valley educators
A group of school leaders from districts in the Schoharie Valley (Berne-Knox-Westerlo, Cobleskill-Richmondville, Duanesburg, Middleburgh, Schoharie, and Sharon Springs) with support of the BOCES Partnership have banded together to collaboratively approach implementation of the New York State Next Generation Learning Standards in each of their districts.

The Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Central School District is committed to providing equity and excellence for all students. Using Surveys to Identify Professional Development Needs, the district partnered with Madison-Oneida BOCES and provided teachers with a variety of resources to provide equity and excellence for all students while moving forward with the Capacity Building phase of the Roadmap Implementation plan.


A One-Day Next Generation ELA Learning Standards Conference

A one-day conference in Liverpool, NY designed by the Staff/Curriculum Development Network (S/CDN) ELA Statewide Group will provide a forum of educators from various New York State regions with an interactive opportunity to strengthen school districts' capacity for the integration of the New York State Next Generation English Language Arts Standards into curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
