Office/Bureau Description: 

The Manuscripts and Special Collections (MSC) unit is responsible for the acquisition, access and preservation of the Library's collections of archives and manuscripts, rare books, maps and atlases, prints and photographs, broadsides and posters, musical scores, and ephemera.

Intern's Supervisor: 

Matthew Laudicina

The Assignment (Description of Job): 

The student will work with collections and finding aids to ensure that information the public accesses is as complete and accurate as possible. The student may process new collections, organizing materials and creating finding aids. The student will man the registration desk for one hour a day.

Intern Development Plan : 

The student will gain valuable professional experience working with our collections and finding aids. The student will gain valuable experience processing collections.
