A Parent's Guide to the Next Generation Learning Standards

To help parents prepare for the transition to the Next Generation Learning Standards, NYSED collaborated with multiple partners, including parents, to develop a resource that facilitates and promotes parental involvement and engagement. This parent brochure provides a description of the instructional cycle and the role of learning standards in the cycle, an FAQ for the Next Generation Learning Standards, and links to resources to support classroom learning at home.
