Back-to-School Ready to Learn Resources
Last academic year, we called on all New Yorkers to think deeply about civility and being proactive agents of change in your communities to instill a culture of care encompassing doing positive deeds for all New Yorkers.
In the words of Aristotle, the essence of our beings is to “Serve others and do good” and so we call on all New Yorkers to usher in a renewed sense of volunteerism and resource sharing to help students across New York by coming together to donate items like backpacks, school supplies, and promote resources to support students academically, socially and emotionally.
Making a Difference
We invite you to share how we can work together to support the Whole Student, Whole Family, and Whole Community culture of care to prepare for back-to-school and provide support throughout the school year. Email resources in these three critical areas of need, and we will share them on this web page:
- Obtaining School Supplies
- Academic Support
- Social-Emotional Support
